I am Dilip Patil, an author of 30+ books, a self-publishing mentor, and a thought leader in the world of independent authorship. But my journey began in a place far different from where I stand today.

I was born in a small village in Maharashtra, India, where my parents were daily wage workers. Life was tough—our home was a simple mud house, and education seemed like a distant dream. We lived in an environment where survival was the priority, and success was considered a privilege only for the wealthy and well-connected.

But I had one thing that changed everything—an unbreakable desire to learn and grow.

Despite studying in a Hindi-medium school with limited resources, I remained determined to rise above my circumstances. I pursued my education with relentless dedication, working hard to complete my engineering degree and later a part-time MBA—all while supporting myself through work.
